Expat Resources that Could Save Your Life in Thailand

Expat Resources that Could Save Your Life in Thailand #DoMoreLife #Travel #Thailand
This video explains expat resources that could save your life in Thailand (Both metaphorically, and literally). This educational travel vlog explains some resources that all expats visiting Thailand will need. This information is intended to help expedite your vacation, or retirement in Thailand. Here are the resources every expat needs when coming to Thailand.

Have a friend or know someone who speaks both the Thai and English languages. This will make your life much easier while you are in Thailand. Having a translator is imperative if you don't speak any Thai.

Get familiar with a law firm, which has English speaking lawyers. This resource is important if you need to deal with any immigration issues, or other problems.

You need an escape plan. This is also known as having an onward ticket, or throwaway ticket. You will need this ticket if you're coming for a short-stay, such as a vacation, in Thailand.

Make digital copies of ALL of the necessary documents you will need for your trip to Thailand. Examples of these documents are your passport, itinerary, address you are staying at, driver's license, insurance coverage, etc.

If you plan to drive while you are in Thailand, make sure you have your international driver's license. It will help you avoid the long headache of getting a Thai driver's license.

Be sure to have a substantial emergency fund in case you loose your money or have an accident.

Take advantage of the travelers insurance Thailand is now offering. This could be a life saver in the event you have a major medical issue in the Kingdom of Thailand. If you dont want Thailand's medical coverage, just be sure you have some type of medical insurance while you are in Thailand.

One more thing you will need to bring with you is a good attitude. Leave your anger and other issues on the plane. A good attitude will get you off to a great start in Thailand. Be humble, and patient!
