Watch: PM Narendra Modi conferred with Maldives' highest honour for foreign dignitary Prime Minister Narendra Modi was conferred with the Maldives' highest honour, 'The Most Honourable Order of the Distinguished Rule of Nishan Izzuddeen'. The honour was conferred upon PM Modi by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih during a ceremony in Male. PM Narendra Modi is on a two-day state visit to Maldives with an aim to cement bilateral ties with the Indian Ocean archipelago. During the visit, PM Narendra Modi also addressed the Maldivian Parliament.
