CHILDREN COURT AWARDS LIFE SENTENCE TO CONVICTS IN CASE RELATED TO 2013 MERCES COUPLE MURDER

In a connected case with 2013 Merces labourer couple murder, Panaji Children's Court has awarded life sentences on 4 counts to the convicts Osban Lukas Fernandes and Ramesh Bagve. The convicts duo had first killed his labourer Shivaji Nayak and later to hide the crime killed victim's wife and attempted to kill their children. The children survived and disclosed the case to the police.
