It’s finally ready! After much development, the Firegate is finally off the production line. It’s made from heavy duty 2mm stainless steel and fits the rear of the Ooni 3, Pro and also 2 ovens. At this stage, I’ve only tested it with an Ooni 3 and it’s great!
It’s got two height settings- the lower setting lets you keep the gate on and load timbers through the top.
Please ensure the following for safety-
Do not leave the lit oven unattended at any time
Ensure the oven is on a fire proof surface, and that there is nothing flammable behind the oven incase of sparks.
Use a heat proof glove when adjusting the Firegate and use the hook on the Ooni hopper lid to move it. It will be extremely hot!
