When you get emotional, are you able to share what’s happening inside your head and heart? We continue our 12 Steps To Resolving Conflict bonus series from Author and Speaker, Dr. Ron Jenson, with Part 5 where we’ll discuss how to share your feelings appropriately. Join us each Monday for the next few weeks as we dive into this important topic!
A critical skill in conflict resolution is the ability to understand our feelings and then share them in a calm, respectful manner. First, we have to identify the feelings which requires emotional competency. And then we have to communicate them in a way that helps the other person understand how their actions affect us.
When someone asks you how you are doing, is your default answer, “Fine”? Share with us in the comments section.
