The ladies of Spain meet regularly and can be found on Facebook for their next gatherings. :-
With a large community of expats on the Costa’s there is plenty of things to keep people busy and occupied. My wife recently became a member of the Ladies of Spain group. They are active not only on Facebook but with having regular meet ups in different locations in the area.
A great way to meet new people and I highly recommend for women newly arriving in Spain. As many of the experiences you go through most people have already experienced and can offer help. As well as offering friendship and regular meetings for tea and cakes.
If a bit shy please look to join up at the Facebook group and make a couple of internet friends before coming to the gatherings. However I am sure you will be in good company and I know my wife and our friend Denise enjoy the gatherings.
Another important aspect of the meetings is they change venue regularly so you can get to visit many places and the odd hidden gem location.
