Investigation Update: Boston Police are seeking the public’s help in an effort to ascertain the identity of the individual shown in the above images and video in relation to the following incident: At about 9:57 PM on Saturday January 12, 2019, officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) responded to a radio call for an unknown medical emergency in the area of 49 Blue Hill Avenue in Roxbury. On arrival, officers located an adult male victim suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim was declared deceased on scene. The victim has since been identified as Edward Mowring, 70, of Roxbury.
The Boston Police Department is actively investigating facts and circumstances surrounding this incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Boston Police Homicide Detectives at 617-343-4470
