Katy Horowitz, Director of Gan Katan Miami (www.gankatanmiami.com), is no stranger to “troubled” kids. Her husband was considered one growing up, as is her son.
An experience with her son has convinced Katy that perhaps the single most important factor for children is a supportive school environment. Ralphy, Katie’s son, began developing nervous ticks and other obsessive behavior.
Within a short time of Ralphy’s school asking him to leave, the nervous ticks completely disappeared.
Katy prides herself on providing a loving and supportive environment whilst meeting the children where they are at in their development.
