Now, you can learn A LOT from things that didn't go right.
And I made a huge mistake when it came to my business. If you are unfamiliar with Grey Hat or White Hat Tactics - basically at the time I was running 5 niche sites at a time and ALSO attending my day job.
Needless to say I was super busy.
Now we know that Google doesn't really like Grey Hat Links, and so it was risky to be using them to get traffic to my site.
And it happened. My friend Rob got a penalty from Google and his earnings went from thousands to zero in one day. Bad deal.
Unfortunately I also got impacted from this, and even though I wasn't earning that much revenue - it still was a huge blow because I had worked so hard on these sites for months.
