Impact of Green and Blue Spaces (GABS) on Childhood Obesity by Julius Alejandre
Evidence show that nature and built environment which are vital components of sustainable and livable communties have huge influence on population health. However, there are limited studies investigating the impact of GABS on childhood obesity. In the Philippines, where people are experiencing double burden of malnutrition, there is a need for innovative obesity prevention strategies. The systematic review provides evidences on how GABS influence childhood obesity and translate these evidences to policy recommendations to support and promote environment-based interventions in the country.
